We truly are what we do - because what our people bring to our projects is also a story about how we work. Our work process and our design teams are integrated end to end - which means your project benefits from years of experience as well as fresh ideas from all of our designers.

Tony Castrigno leads the studio through active client engagement and creative explorations, and develops the creative strategy and direction for our projects. Then the team conducts visual research, creates mood boards, concept sketches (yes – even with a pencil) and brings a whole lot of passion for the program – a passion that not only shows up in the creative solutions, but flows through the rest of the team and permeates the entire process.
John Moyik is the keeper of a workflow process so iconic that it has its own name in the industry: “The Ways” – this is John’s passion, which has translated into a design and production process that gives clients and designers alike a clear picture of how a project is progressing, and a clear vision of where it will be next. He often heads up projects with special challenges to assure their successful completion. John runs our innovative DC Connect subsidiary, which specializes in human scale digital technology.
Designer John Hughes has a passion for all things experiential and focuses on strong research, conceptualization and design that helps tell a story. With an education in product design and having specialized in the development of experiential environments throughout his career, he uses his sketching and 3D visualization skills to create an impactful aesthetic that becomes a framework for the audience experience.
Blair Costello found her way into the world of experiential design through her belief that the people you meet and the experiences you create with them are what matters. She has developed understanding and love for color, form, light and texture from her diverse background in studio art, interior design and textiles. Blair's unstoppable energy streamlines communication, visual research, and project coordination.
Christina Fremgen’s passion for set design led her first to the theatres of New York City and then to the studio of Design Contact. Her love of design and commitment to collaboration lend themselves to the efficient and skillful completion of many design projects with us.
Much of the "magic" in our visuals comes via the hand of Melinda Lee who brings a unique aesthetic  with her from Taiwan. Her special touches breathe life into the visuals, her graphics bring vibrancy  and color to the designs, and her command of media adds motion and energy to the experiences  she helps create.
Our very own mountain man John Bertram is a frequent contributor, who after a decade of work at our side now lends us his special skills in modeling and detailing from Montana. John is a bit like a turbo engine – we can always rely on him when we need a bit of a boost! And because he is time shifted two hours, he amazes us all with overnight work that pops up in our projects – well – overnight!
And supporting all of us is Mark who comes to Design Contact having survived 15 exciting years in live theatre, entertainment, and event production and management. Now he brings his energy and wry humor to us – and keeps Design Contact moving forward, playing a vital role in the company’s finances and managing operations.
Our extended family includes skilled renderers, animators, writers, and designers that bring their specific skills to your projects and give us the flexibility to work with an expanding scope of work. People such as Warren Stiles, Christina Fremgen, Jason Courson, Ann Bartek, and many others each contribute their part to your success.
